The dental specialist Renfert uses the EPIM from Viamedici

True to the motto 'making work easy', Renfert's omnichannel strategy for dental technicians and dentists was implemented using Viamedici EPIM and the omnichannel box from Viamedici partner infolox.

After Renfert's analysis phase and joint evaluation and selection of PIM system and CMS, infolox was commissioned with the introduction of a new system landscape and the simultaneous re-launch of Renfert's entire online presence. The PIM system EPIM from Viamedici and the CMS eZ Platform with the omnichannel box bundles from infolox were used.

EPIM: Product finder in eight languages

Right from the start, the focus of the redesign of the website with integrated e-catalog, service portal, product finder, and extensive information center was on the processes and use cases of the most important target groups. Renfert reclassified all products accordingly and assigned them to applications and target groups. Also, eight languages were transferred to Viamedici's EPIM. Interfaces to ERP (MS Dynamics AX) form the basis for clearly defined master data processes and a correspondingly automated transfer of all relevant data from AX to PIM and CMS.

New omnichannel strategy and Web portal

The first result of the new omnichannel strategy and the new omnichannel backend from PIM and CMS is the utterly unique web portal, which supports the presales as well as aftersales processes comprehensively. An info center with extensive expertise, videos, documents and news, a digital product catalog with product finder and product inquiry notepad, a service portal with FAQs, spare parts drawings and other content, a closed partner area with further information, a protected internal area for Renfert employees - these are just some of the highlights of the comprehensive solution. With the powerful search function, product information can be found with only a few clicks.
Last but not least, the modern and responsive web design makes browsing and surfing on any device positive user experience.
