YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Leadership of the development team
    You lead a primarily remote-based team of developers responsible for building and maintaining customer-specific custom applications and integrations. By providing clear guidance, structure and priorities, you ensure efficient collaboration and high-quality technical delivery.
  • Development organization and structure
    You play a key role in building and continuously improving the development organization. This includes establishing clear roles, responsibilities and processes that enable scalable and sustainable development operations.
  • Technical standards and frameworks
    Working closely with other business units, you define, introduce and enforce technical standards, development frameworks and infrastructure guidelines. Your work ensures consistency, maintainability and long-term scalability across all custom development projects.
  • Development and deployment processes
    You design and optimize development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, code review practices and quality assurance processes. Through well-structured processes, you enable the team to deliver reliable solutions efficiently and consistently.
  • Technical concept validation and implementation
    You review and approve technical concepts created by Solution Architects and Consultants. In close collaboration with project management and solution architecture, you guide the development team in implementing these concepts effectively and according to defined standards.
  • Team growth and developer development
    You are responsible for selecting, onboarding and mentoring developers. By fostering individual growth and professional development, you help build a strong and capable engineering team.
  • Performance management and team improvement
    You introduce and apply structured methods to evaluate developer performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Based on these insights, you implement measures that strengthen both individual performance and overall team effectiveness.
  • Remote team management
    Leading a distributed team requires clear communication, strong leadership and defined goals. You ensure alignment across the team, promote accountability and maintain consistent adherence to technical and organizational standards.

 

STAND OUT WITH THESE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive development experience
    You bring several years of experience in software development, combined with proven experience in leading or mentoring developer teams.
  • Strong technical architecture knowledge
    A deep understanding of modern software architectures, development frameworks and engineering infrastructure allows you to make sound technical decisions and guide complex development projects.
  • Experience with technical concept implementation
    You are experienced in reviewing technical concepts and steering development teams through the successful implementation of complex technical solutions.
  • Process and standards development
    You have experience designing and improving development processes, technical standards and engineering best practices within a growing organization.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills
    Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to make clear decisions enable you to guide teams effectively and maintain high standards of execution.
  • Excellent communication skills
    You communicate clearly and effectively in german and english, especially when working with distributed teams, and ensure alignment between developers, architects and project stakeholders.
